1.2.1.contentACCESS prerequisites
1) Customers should configure Store and SQL DB backups in case of data loss.
2) Archive store should be excluded from the antivirus scan, as the scan may quarantine or remove files.
General prerequisites
The following prerequisites are needed for the contentACCESS archive server.
Software requirement
- 64bit only Windows
- OS: Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2022
- .NET Framework 4.8
- IIS 7.0,8.0
- Operating system memory (RAM): 8GB is recommended
- Free disk space (HDD): 20GB free space is recommended
- Processor (CPU): 2.4GHz quad core

The following prerequisites are needed if you would like to archive emails with the contentACCESS archive server.

- MS Outlook 2010×64, MS Outlook 2013×64, MS Outlook 2016×64, MS Outlook 2019×64, MS Outlook 2021×64 (Click-to-Run Outlook is not supported!)
Service User
contentACCESS MS Exchange services user rights:

- Read rights over the Configuration Container
- Assign DCOM Rights on Windows 2012 R2 and above:
