3.2.contentACCESS Portal

What is contentACCESS Portal? contentACCESS Portal is a web user interface for the contentACCESS archive, which ensures an over-simple read-only or full access to any items (files and emails), which have been previously archived/processed by contentACCESS. For the end user these items are also accessible from any mobile device. The searching, item listing, recovery and export functions of contentACCESS Portal make the work with these archive items more comfortable and intuitive.

The only condition to access the content of mailboxes/folders is that the end user must have access permissions to them. Such permissions must be granted by the system administrator. Email archive access permissions can be granted in the contentACCESS address book (on page View address book, more information here), File archive access permissions can be granted in the File archive’s provisioning settings according to the steps described in this chapter.

The main advantages of using contentACCESS Portal are as follows:
