7.1.5.Shortcut cleanup (shortcut scan + compare + PST export + import + shortcut cleanup)

The mailbox is opened again, but this time it’s not scanned. The MAM shortcuts, which were gathered during the shortcut discovery phase and were successfully exported and then imported, are deleted from the mailbox. Since Enterprise Vault has already created EV shortcuts for these mails, there will be duplicate mails in the mailbox until the cleanup phase is finished.

Note: If a MAM shortcut was moved between the shortcut discovery and shortcut cleanup phases, the MAM shortcut will not be deleted. Therefore, it is not recommended to move the MAM shortcuts during these phases.
