10.2.How to grant Site collection administrator permissions?

Log in to Microsoft 365 admin center. From the list of Admin centers, choose SharePoint.

Click on the Open it now button in the upper right corner.

Select Active sites from the left pane.

Select your desired site (1). Click on Owners (2) and then on Change group owners (3).

Specify the user you want to grant Site collection administration permissions to and click Save.
